Dr. K. Berat Oyur was born in 1986 in the historic Sur district of Diyarbakır, Türkiye. He graduated from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2012.

Before beginning his specialty training in Plastic Surgery, he was accepted as an observer physician at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he worked under the supervision of Dr. Simon Talbot. He completed his residency training in Plastic and Microsurgery in 2021 at BELMAPO (Belarus Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education), Department of Plastic and Microsurgery. During the final year of his residency, he worked at Dr. Dmitry Batiukov’s Aesthetic Surgery Clinic in Minsk, gaining valuable experience in aesthetic surgical procedures.

Following his residency, Dr. Oyur served as a Research Fellow for one year at the University of California, Irvine, under the supervision of Dr. Gregory R. D. Evans. During this period, he had the opportunity to observe surgical procedures and participate in academic lectures and educational activities. After successfully completing all steps of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), he earned the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certification, a credential recognized in the United States and many other countries worldwide.

In 2023, Dr. Oyur completed his mandatory public service as a Plastic Surgeon at Van Training and Research Hospital.

Dr. K. Berat Oyur is fluent in English and Russian and is also able to communicate effectively in German. His international training and clinical experience enable him to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care while maintaining high standards of safety, precision, and professionalism in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
